RAY039-1024768-FPC
A 0.39" XGA (1024x768) full-color OLED microdisplay on a slim flex-mounted module, aimed at AR glasses and other builds where the optics leave almost no room behind the panel.
It carries the same 8.13 x 6.18 mm active area and 7.8 x 7.8 um RGB vertical-stripe pixel as the rigid-module version of this panel - about 3,280 PPI, 1040 x 784 physical pixels with 1024 x 768 addressable - but packages it on a 49 x 13.4 mm flex only 1.25 mm thick, against 3.57 mm for the boxed module. It is also a substantially brighter binning: 2,500 cd/m2 typical in full color where the rigid version is rated at 200.
The panel gives 256 grey levels, contrast above 10,000:1, brightness uniformity over 90% and a 25-120 Hz refresh rate, and accepts 24-bit RGB, 24/16-bit YCbCr or 8-bit monochrome video with an I2C control channel. The 0.18 um CMOS backplane integrates a temperature sensor, DDP dimming, adaptive brightness, brightness and contrast compensation and image mirroring. Operating range is -40 to +65 degC and the module weighs 1 g.
Monochrome versions are offered at 5,000 cd/m2 (white) and 10,000 cd/m2 (green and red). The datasheet gives no power-consumption or lifetime figures for this module.
