RAY061-12801024

A 0.61" SXGA (1280x1024) full-color OLED microdisplay in a 5:4 format, aimed at head-mounted displays, thermal and night-vision sights and industrial viewfinders.

The 11.94 x 9.56 mm active area holds a square 9.3 x 9.3 um pixel in an RGB vertical-stripe arrangement, about 2,710 PPI, with 1284 x 1028 pixels physically present. It gives 8-bit / 256 grey levels, contrast above 10,000:1 and brightness uniformity over 90%, and accepts ITU-R BT.601, 24-bit RGB or 8/16/24-bit YCbCr video at 1.8 V CMOS levels with an I2C control channel.

The module is 22 x 17 x 4.84 mm, weighs under 2 g and mates through a 40-pin 0.5 mm Hirose DF12NB(3.0)-40DP-0.5V connector. It runs from -40 to +65 degC at up to 85% RH non-condensing and stores from -50 to +90 degC. Supply is 5.0 V at up to 250 mA plus 1.8 V at up to 40 mA.

The full-color version is rated at 200 cd/m2 typical; monochrome white runs at 800 cd/m2 and monochrome green at 10,000 cd/m2. Typical power consumption is 110 mW in color, 115 mW mono white and 150 mW mono green. Working life is quoted as 20,000 hours at typical brightness, without stating the luminance-decay point it is measured to.
