RAY061-1024768
A 0.61" XGA (1024x768) full-color OLED microdisplay on a carrier PCB, intended for wearable viewers, head-mounted displays and other near-eye systems.
The 12.3 x 9.23 mm active area uses a 12 x 12 um pixel in an RGB vertical-stripe arrangement, roughly 2,120 PPI, with 1040 x 784 pixels physically present. Beyond its native 1024x768 the driver can be reconfigured down to 640x480, and a row-blanking mode lets the scanning duty cycle be adjusted to trade brightness against motion artefacts. It gives 8-bit / 256 grey levels, contrast of 10,000:1, brightness uniformity over 90% at 200 cd/m2 and a 25-120 Hz frame rate.
Video comes in as 24-bit RGB, 16-bit YCbCr or 8-bit monochrome, with colour-space conversion, contrast and brightness adjustment and a choice of piecewise-linear or full-lookup-table gamma correction on board. Two 10-bit ramp generators feed the column drivers. Configuration is over a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface, and an integrated temperature sensor supports dynamic brightness correction. A one-time-programmable memory stores per-panel settings.
The module is 19.8 x 15.2 x 4.54 mm, weighs 1 g and mates through a 40-pin Hirose connector. It runs from -40 to +65 degC at up to 85% RH non-condensing. Typical brightness is 100 cd/m2, adjustable over roughly 40 to 400 cd/m2, with typical power consumption of 62 mW at 60 Hz or 52 mW at 25 Hz from 1.8 V, 3.3 V and 5.0 V rails. The white point is CIE x 0.310, y 0.330.
