RAY071-19201080

A 0.71" full-HD (1920x1080) full-color OLED microdisplay for head-mounted displays, AR and VR headsets and electronic viewfinders.

The 15.81 x 9.00 mm active area packs an 8.1 x 8.1 um pixel laid out as an RGB irregular hexagon, about 3,140 PPI. It gives 8-bit / 256 grey levels, contrast above 10,000:1, brightness uniformity over 90% and a 25-90 Hz refresh rate, driven over MIPI with an I2C control channel.

The module is 28 x 18 x 3.42 mm and weighs under 2 g, running from a 1.65-1.95 V logic rail and a 5-5.5 V supply. It operates from -40 to +65 degC at up to 85% RH non-condensing and stores down to -55 degC.

The full-color version is rated at 300 cd/m2 typical, with monochrome white at 2,000 cd/m2 and monochrome green at 10,000 cd/m2. Typical power consumption is 350 mW in color, 480 mW mono white and 380 mW mono green. Working life is quoted as 20,000 hours, without stating the brightness or luminance-decay point it is measured to.
