RAY071-19201080-FPC
A 0.71" full-HD (1920x1080) full-color OLED microdisplay on a slim flex-mounted module, for AR and VR headsets where depth behind the optics is the binding constraint.
It carries the same 15.81 x 9.00 mm active area and 8.1 x 8.1 um RGB irregular-hexagon pixel as the rigid-module version of this panel - roughly 3,140 PPI - but on a 60.6 x 15.1 mm flex only 1.49 mm thick, against 3.42 mm for the boxed module, and it weighs under 1.5 g. It is also the brighter binning of the two: 500 cd/m2 typical in full color where the rigid version is rated at 300.
The panel gives 8-bit / 256 grey levels, contrast above 10,000:1, brightness uniformity over 90% and a 25-90 Hz refresh rate over MIPI with an I2C control channel. Supply is a 1.8 V logic rail plus 5-5.5 V and -5 to -5.5 V analogue rails. It operates from -40 to +65 degC at up to 85% RH non-condensing.
Monochrome versions are offered at 2,000 cd/m2 (white) and 10,000 cd/m2 (green). Typical power consumption is 285 mW in color, 320 mW mono white and 335 mW mono green. The datasheet gives no lifetime figure for this module.
