RAY096-14001050
A 0.96" SXGA+ (1400x1050) full-color OLED microdisplay, the largest and brightest panel in this series, aimed at head-mounted displays, VR headsets, thermal imagers and night-vision devices.
The 19.60 x 14.70 mm active area uses a 14 x 14 um pixel in a rectangular RGB arrangement, about 1,860 PPI, in a 4:3 format. It gives 256 grey levels, brightness uniformity over 90% and a 65-120 Hz refresh rate, with contrast quoted at 100,000:1 full-black to full-white and 1,000:1 on a full-aperture checkerboard. Video comes in over a two-port LVDS link with an I2C control channel.
The module measures 24.7 x 25.8 x 4.13 mm and weighs under 5 g, running from 1.8 V and 3.3 V logic rails plus a 5.0 V supply at up to 300 mA. Its temperature range is the widest of the series, -50 to +70 degC operating and -55 to +85 degC storage.
The full-color version is rated at 1,500 cd/m2 typical and draws under 200 mW. Two high-brightness monochrome versions are also offered - a single-colour one at 16,000 cd/m2 and a two-colour red-green one at 12,000 cd/m2 - each drawing under 1 W. Working life is quoted as 20,000 hours, without stating the brightness or luminance-decay point it is measured to.
